BR BANDS CALENDAR
ABOUT THE BAND PROGRAM
The Black River Band program is dedicated to fostering a lifelong passion for music by creating a life changing music education experience for the students of Black River Local Schools. The BR Bands are comprised of the Hs Concert Band (our flagship concert ensemble), Pirate Marching Band, Jazz Band, 8th Gr. Band, 7th Gr. Band, and 6th gr. beginning band. Collectively the band program delivers upwards of 50 performances a year. Performances range from Friday Night football games to marching band competitions to concert band festivals and parades. Both the HS Concert Band and MS Band have consistently earned SUPERIOR ratings at OMEA Adjudicated events. Be sure to view the band calendar and join us for our next performance!
